Triumph Group extend strategic supplier agreement

Radnor-based Triumph Group’s Systems, Electronics and Controls recently extended its agreement as a strategic supplier to the U.S. Army and BAE Systems in support of the M777 Lightweight Howitzer platform supplying critical spare Primer Feed Mechanism components.

“Our continuing partnership affirms TRIUMPH’s commitment to delivering battle-proven solutions that enhance the performance and reliability of critical defense systems,” Justin Wolfanger, TRIUMPH Systems, Electronics and Controls president, said. “Continuing our support for the Howitzer artillery platform, we remain dedicated to providing precision-engineered components that meet the highest standards of quality and durability for the warfighter.”

The company has shipped 2,365 components since 2022 with 938 on order.

TRIUMPH Systems, Electronics and Controls designs, develops, manufactures, repairs, and overhauls aviation and defense components, accessories, subassemblies, systems, and aircraft thermal management systems.

TRIUMPH designs, manufactures, repairs, and overhauls aerospace and defense systems and components for the global aviation industry. Earlier this month, the company announced it entered into an agreement for affiliates of private equity firms Berkshire Partners and Warburg Pincus to acquire TRIUMPH for approximately $3 billion. TRIUMPH will become a privately held company jointly controlled by Berkshire Partners and Warburg Pincus once the deal is completed. The purchase is through a newly formed entity.
