The Home Fashions Product Association (HFPA) presented Pittsburgh-based American Textile Co. (ATC), a bedding manufacturer, with the Home Excellence Leadership Award at its annual scholarship gala earlier this month.
The HFPA cited ATC’s track record of bringing successful new innovations to the bedding market.
Lance Ruttenberg, ATC CEO and president, and Blake Ruttenberg, ATC executive vice president, accepted the award, that recognizes a business’s vision and culture of innovation, on the company’s behalf.
“In 2025, we will celebrate 100 years in business, yet it feels each day like we are just getting started,” Lance Ruttenberg said. “We are making record capital investments this year and next that will continue driving gains in efficiency, quality, and service levels to our customers. In addition, we are adding talent across our team from operations to merchandising. Talented people have been critical to our growth, and we will continue to push the accelerator as retailers embrace e-commerce, shipping efficiency, and sustainability across their business.”
American Textile Co. employs more than 1,000 employees globally. It supplies store brand bedding products to retailers throughout North America, and produces brand name products for e-commerce, hospitality, retail, and other channels. Brands include AllerEase, Sealy, Tempur-Pedic, and Tranquility.
