Georgia-based Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, a fire protection and security systems provider, recently purchased Bethlehem-based Altronics Security Solutions, a security alarms, video surveillance and access control company, for an undisclosed amount.
“Over the last 65 years, Altronics Security Solutions has built a loyal following of customers who depend on the team for ongoing service to protect their businesses and people,” Bart Proctor, Pye-Barker CEO, said. “We’re proud to carry on that legacy and welcome the team aboard to help fulfill our mission to protect every community from fire and security threats. Pye-Barker’s commitment to partnering with values-aligned organizations like Altronics is an integral part of our continued growth.”
Altronics serves commercial customers in eastern Pennsylvania and throughout the tristate area. In addition to the Bethlehem location, the company operates a satellite office in Saylorsburg.
Founded in the 1950s, the company specializes in access control, CCTV, fire and burglar alarms, mass notification systems, security automation, and 24-hour central monitoring.
Altronics has donated security systems to domestic violence victims and other local organizations as part of its commitment to supporting its customers and community by giving back.
Pye-Barker Fire & Safety has more than 200 locations and employs 6,000 people nationwide.
