Pittsburgh-based Arconic Corporation, a provider of aluminum sheet, plate, and extrusions and architectural products, recently published its 2023 sustainability report.
The report details the company’s commitment to reducing its environmental impact and protecting the welfare of its customers, employees, key stakeholders, suppliers, and the communities where it operates. It also highlights the company’s progress against its 2030 sustainability goals.

The company reduced overall greenhouse gas emissions 6 percent year-over-year.
A total of 53 percent of high-risk suppliers meet the company’s supply chain management program criteria.
The company invested more than $33 million in research and development to accelerate product innovation, and the Arconic Foundation invested $7 million to advance education, environmental sustainability, and social equity.
Globally, 17.6 perecent of the company’s work force is women.

Arconic supplies the aerospace, building and construction, industrial and packaging, and ground transportation end markets.
