Texas company purchases Stuffed Puffs’ assets

Texas-based Mount Franklin Foods, a foodservice company, recently acquired Bethlehem-based Stuffed Puffs’ assets for an undisclosed amount.

The purchase allows Mount Franklin Foods to expand its confectionery portfolio, and is part of a strategic plan to diversify and expand its product offerings.

Founded in 2019, Stuffed Puffs produces marshmallow products filled with milk chocolate and other ingredients.

Mount Franklin Foods manufactures bake mixes, confections, culinary plant-based proteins, fruit snacks, gummies, jellies, mints, nut products, powdered beverages and ingredients, and snack mixes

The company serves the retail and foodservice industries including foodservice distributors, major retailers, and wholesalers through its divisions and affiliate companies. These include Azar Nut, Element Food Solutions, Hospitality Mints and Sunrise Confections.

Mount Franklin Foods also has a large co-manufacturing and private label business supporting brands and retailers nationwide and includes brands such as Azar Nut, Sunrise Confections, and Hospitality Mints.
