Indiana-based TRANSTEX, a cleantech company providing engineering emission-reducing solutions to the transportation sector, recently purchased Harmony-based US Liner Company, a fiber reinforced thermoplastic composites manufacturer.

The purchase allows TRANSTEX to expand its North American manufacturing capacity and have a steady source of high-quality composite materials for the manufacture of its line of products.

“Our recent acquisitions have strategically expanded TRANSTEX’s market presence, with US Liner now integrating as a leading manufacturer within our supply chain,” Mathieu Desjardins, TRANSTEX president, said. “By leveraging TRANSTEX’s advanced manufacturing expertise and through collaboration between our R&D and commercial teams, our aim is to improve quality, focus on product development, and drive sustainable growth across all sectors of activities.”

US Liner, formerly American Made LLC, produces light, strong, and affordable composite materials that are used in a broad range of applications. Its range of glass-reinforced polypropylene composite materials set the industry standard for toughness and durability.

TRANSTEX will use US Liner’s products as protective or structural components in recreational and transportation vehicles, and agricultural applications.

The company produces solutions tailored to enhance fleet efficiency and to reduce costs. For more than 20 years, it has been innovating trailer aerodynamics and electric Auxiliary Power Units.
