QUA brings wastewater technology production in India

Canonsburg-based QUA, an advanced membrane technologies provider for water and wastewater treatment, recently began production in Pune, India.

The new facility will manufacture a number of membrane types including FEDI GIGA fractional electrodeionization, EnviQ RF submerged ultrafiltration membranes, and Q-SEP Q-Connect hollow fiber ultrafiltration membranes.

The facility will utilize the latest advanced manufacturing systems and process monitoring technologies, and features a zero-discharge solution and recycles wastewater from manufacturing operations.

It will allow the company to provide faster delivery times by increasing production capacity four times, keep pace with evolving industrial and municipal water treatment needs and commit to safety and environmental stewardship.
