Ohio-based Steelite International, a manufacturer and supplier of buffet, tabletop, and lighting solutions used in the hospitality industry, recently purchased 96 acres in Lawrence County.
The company plans to build a cutting-edge distribution facility on the property to meet growing customer demands, streamline the company’s supply chain, and enhance the company’s logistical capabilities.
Steelite has two other facilities in Lawrence County, which will continue to operate.
“This expansion is a testament to our commitment to our valued customers, dedicated employees, the commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and our Lawrence County community,” John Miles, Steelite International president and CEO, said. “We anticipate that the construction of this building will be one of the most significant projects in Lawrence County over the past 65 years. We are confident that this state-of-the-art facility will enhance our operational efficiency and contribute to the region’s economic growth.”
