Phoenix-based StateServ, a durable medical equipment (DME) benefit management solutions provider to the post-acute care market, recently finalized its purchase of Pittsburgh-based Delta Care Rx, an integrated pharmacy benefit management company, for an undisclosed amount.

“For many years, Delta Care has prioritized quality, reliability, and transparency throughout its organization, delivering innovative solutions to its loyal client base,” Paul DiCosmo, StateServ CEO and co-founder, said. “This is an important milestone for StateServ and for the entire industry. Our vision of the combined solution will include a significant investment in new technology to automate and streamline workflows, enabling better quality service and efficiency for our customers.”

Delta Care also offers the hospice and palliative care markets clinical pharmacist consulting, mail order prescription, and sterile/non-sterile compounding.

The combined company will be a care-at-home data, technology, and service platform. It also will be the industry’s first scaled DME and pharmacy solution, supporting improved quality of care and operational efficiencies.

The combined company will offer consolidated workflows and reporting, and combined DME and pharmacy management.

The Delta Care leadership team will stay on with StateServ. Mary Mihalyo, Delta Care CEO, becomes StateServ chief clinical officer. Drew Mihalyo, Delta Care president, becomes StateServ president of pharmacy services.
