Yardley, Pa.-based Gentell, one of the largest wound care dressing manufacturers, recently made new appointments to its global executive team and opened its European and Brazilian headquarters.
The company has manufacturing plants in the United States, Canada, Mexico and China, and distribution facilities around the world. It supplies hospitals, nursing homes, home care, hospices, and other providers with wound care treatments.
“Our vision is truly becoming reality with the addition of these dynamic leaders to our team,” David Navazio, Gentell president and CEO, said. “I am proud of their accomplishments and of their potential to create evolution for Gentell as we take next steps forward in the achievement of our global strategy.”
The new executives include:
– Jill Reeder was appointed controller. She will ensure Gentell complies with financial regulations and financial records and reports are properly managed, and assist with budgets.
– Marco Scabia was named COO of Gentell Brazil. He has a background in technology, artificial intelligence and the health care industries.
– Roberto Scahin was appointed Gentell Brazil CEO. He has more than two decades of experience as a top executive and investor in the healthcare industry.
– Rupinder Singh was named president of Gentell United Kingdom & Europe. He will work to improve and support patient-specific delivery of affordable wound care treatments.
– Steven Evans will head U.K. and Europe Business Development.
Last year Gentell opened a new 53,000 square foot distribution warehouse and training facility in Bristol, Pa. and moved its new headquarters to Yardley. The company is currently converting its former headquarters building into a dedicated manufacturing facility.
In 2022, Gentell completed its purchase of Derma Sciences Canada from Integra LifeSciences, a global medical technology company. Gentell’s purchase includes Integra LifeSciences’ manufacturing plants in Toronto, Canada and Nantong, China. Gentell said it will manufacture advanced wound care products and dressings at those facilities, as well as in its plant in Pennsylvania.
