King of Prussia, PA-based Enviri Corporation announced Friday that Liz Peterson will take on the position of Chief Commercial Officer for Clean Earth on Jan. 8.

Clean Earth is a division of Enviri and provides environmental and regulated waste management services. The newly created position will oversee all commercial strategy, customer experience, sales initiatives and sales operations for Clean Earth including all commercial teams and activities under Clean Earth’s Hazardous Waste and Soil and Dredge Material lines.

Peterson has more than 30 years of diversified environmental services experience, and was previously senior vice president for Badger Infrastructure Solutions, a North American hydro-excavation provider. Prior to that she worked at Clean Harbors for more than 20 years in a range of influential leadership positions, and resulted in the integration of more than a dozen acquisitions while managing more than $750 million in revenues.

“I am confident that Liz will be an outstanding addition to the Clean Earth leadership team,” Jeff Beswick, president of Clean Earth, said. “Her proven track record in the environmental services industry underscores her exceptional ability to drive growth, navigate complexities, and foster operational excellence, all of which will propel our commercial team.”

The announcement comes on the heels of the company’s launch of a new program and website focusing on per-and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) remediation and management. The program, ReSolve, will offer innovative solutions and a results-oriented approach to PFAS remediation and management, the company said. The program provides clients with in-house state-of-the-art testing as well as mobile treatment units, officials said.

“PFAS remediation is one of the world’s most challenging environmental issues. Our ReSolve program is at the forefront of efficiently treating PFAS-contaminated materials to help diminish the risks to our environment and our health,” Beswick said. “ReSolve’s innovative solutions are critical to meeting evolving industry standards and restoring a Clean Earth.”
