Pittsburgh-based Civil & Environmental Consultants (CEC) recently purchased Arizona-based Engineering and Environmental Consultants (EEC), a civil engineering and environmental services firm.
The purchase allows CEC to expand its presence in Arizona and allow it to add service offerings and establish new business relationships. New service offerings include landscape architecture, surveying, and water resources.
“We have found EEC to be a good business partner with strong technical capabilities and a wealth of established relationships in the region, particularly with public sector entities,” Robert Livermore, CEC vice president and head of the firm’s Arizona operations, said.
EEC employs more than 30 employees. Its four senior members will join CEC.
Bill Carroll, EEC president and CEO, will become vice president of CEC’s Civil Engineering practice.
Carrie Côté, EEC Phoenix branch manager, will become CEC vice president and serve as the head of the Water Resources Practice and the Public Sector Market Group for CEC’s Arizona operations.
Ryan Stucki, EEC site development director, will become CEC vice president and serve as the office leader and leader of the Civil Engineering Practice for the Tucson office.
Dan Cleland, a EEC project director, will become a principal in the CEC Landscape Architecture group.
The EEC office is located in Tucson. CEC already has offices in Phoenix and Tempe.
