Cranberry Township, Penn.-based MSA Safety Inc. announced the grand opening of its new EMEA Global Business Services Center in Warsaw, Poland this year.
The company’s business hub is located in Warsaw’s city center and will provide a centralized location for a variety of business functions that support the company’s international business goals. The business services center joins the company’s other centers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia which supports its Asia Pacific region.
“Our Warsaw Global Business Services Center is part of our continuous improvement plan to streamline our international footprint, increase in the company’s competitiveness, and invest in key areas like customer service,” Bob Leenen, president of MSA International, said.
Leenen said the new Business Services Center provides live, specialized product support to MSA customers and partners throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
MSA Safety manufactures and develops advanced safety products and system that protect workers and facility infrastructure. With 220 associates in Warsaw, the company said it plans to grow its Polish workforce by approximately 80 people in finance and accounting, human resources, IT, purchasing, supply chain, logistics, marketing, customer service and inside sales positions.
“While MSA has had operations in Poland since 1996, we’re looking forward to having a stronger presence in Warsaw and growing with more associates to help us advance mission of helping men and women stay safe on the job,” Leenen said.
