Pittsburgh-based PPG elected Christopher N. Roberts III, to its board of directors, effective Oct. 18.
He will serve on the Audit Committee and the Sustainability and Innovation Committee.

We are pleased that Chris will be joining the board, as his proven capabilities and industry experience will help to further strengthen PPG and guide its strategic direction.”
Roberts is Ecolab Inc. executive vice president and general manager of global food and beverage. He previously was the company’s executive vice president of strategic initiatives.
Ecolab a water, hygiene and infection-prevention solutions and services provider.
Prior to Ecolab, Roberts held leadership roles at Land O’Lakes and Cargill. He previously held sales, marketing and general management positions with Frito-Lay and Coca-Cola.
Roberts was director of The Meredith Corp. from February 2019 until December 2021 and has served as a member of the board of trustees of Young Life since 2013. He previously held board positions with the Women’s Foodservice Forum and the Cargill Foundation.
