Pittsburgh-based United States Steel Corp. (U. S. Steel) recently released its 2023 Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Report.
“This year’s DEI report is not just a collection of facts and figures, but a reflection of our strategic priorities and core values as a company,” David B. Burritt, U. S. Steel president and CEO, said. “While there is always room to improve, we’re proud to have created an environment where our employees and our company can prosper because we are respecting and valuing each other’s differences.”
The DEI is a cornerstone of U. S. Steel’s Best for All strategy. It emphasizes the company’s commitment to fostering a culture that supports employees.

The company has complete equity in pay, promotions and performance management.
In addition, the company has received several third-party recognitions. Newsweek named U. S. Steel to its Most Loved Workplaces list. Ethisphere named the company to its 2022’s “Best Places to Work for Disability Inclusion” list.
