Pittsburgh technology company purchases software provider

Pittsburgh-based eProductivity Software (ePS), a provider of industry-specific business and production software technology for the packaging and print industries, recently purchased UK-based Tharstern Group, a management information system (MIS) software provider.

The purchase aligns with ePS’ inorganic growth strategy, adds new technologies to the ePS portfolio, advances its pursuit of delivering greater value to customers and the industry, solidifies ePS’ leadership position in the SMB print segment, and continues geographical diversification of the business.

Tharstern employees will participate in advancing ePS’ cloud offering, growth strategy, and expanding customer value.

“We are excited to welcome Tharstern’s customers and talented employees to the ePS family,” ePS CEO Gabriel Matsliach said. “We will continue to support Tharstern’s existing customers with the same enthusiasm they have come to expect, and we look forward to providing them with additional value by leveraging ePS’ global presence, industry know-how, and rich product portfolio.”

eProductivity Software offers integrated and automated software and point solutions designed to enable revenue growth and drive operating and production efficiencies.

Tharstern Group offers business workflow solutions designed to automate business processes and streamline their workflow. It works with the print and packaging industries and has customers in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland, North America, Australia, and South Africa.
