UnityLab, a technology enabled manufacturer of commercial appliances for small businesses, announced plans to relocate its headquarters from New England to Dushore.

UnityLab purchased Hoffman-New Yorker, one of its family of brands, in Sullivan County, along with the company’s 76,000-square-foot headquarters and manufacturing facility. UnityLab plans to invest more than $2.8 million in the relocation, which will create at least 63 jobs and retain 16 existing positions statewide over the next three years.

“We are thrilled to establish the new headquarters of UnityLab in Sullivan County,” Jonathan Benjamin, UnityLab CEO, said. “Our entire team is very grateful for the tremendous support we have received to make our relocation and redevelopment efforts possible. We are excited to bring new jobs to the area and become a positive member of our new community.”

Founded in 2018, UnityLab offers high-quality commercial laundry machines, steam pressing equipment, and boilers. It has more than 25,000 customers globally.

The Department of Community and Economic Development submitted a funding proposal for a $158,000 workforce development grant to help train workers and a $189,000 Pennsylvania First grant.

The Governor’s Action Team coordinated the project. The state has invested more than $16.2 billion in the past seven years through the Governor’s Action Team, supporting 409 completed projects.
