The International Aerospace Quality Group recently awarded Nicomatic, a Horsham-based creative interconnect solutions provider, an AS9100:2016 certification.
SRI Quality System Registrar, an international assessment and certification body, headquartered in Seven Springs, registered Nicomatic’s AS9100:2016.
A certification ensures providers have adequate quality management systems in place. The AS9100:2016 quality management system is an internationally recognized standard for companies and firms providing defense, space, and aviation products and services.
Many aerospace manufacturers and suppliers only will work with certified AS9100 partners.
“The implementation of this stringent aerospace quality management system is one step of many in Nicomatic USA’s mission to exceed customer expectations,” the company said in a statement.
In addition, Nicomatic recently implemented a strategic plan to achieve double-digit growth in revenue, job creation, and community contribution by 2025. The company plans to add approximately 20 jobs at its Montgomery County factory over the next three years.
