Ampco-Pittsburgh names new president for its subsidiary

Ampco-Pittsburgh Corp. recently announced it named David G. Anderson president of its wholly-owned subsidiary Air & Liquid Systems Corp. The appointment will be effective Saturday.

Anderson has more than 32 years of experience in finance and operations roles. He joined Air & Liquid Systems in 2010 and served most recently as vice president. He previously served as Union Electric Steel Corp. vice president of finance.

Union Electric is another Ampco-Pittsburgh wholly-owned subsidiary. It produces forged and cast rolls for the global steel and aluminum industry and open-die forged products for the steel distribution market, oil and gas industry, and the aluminum and plastic extrusion industries.

Anderson replaces Terrence W. Kenny, who is retiring.

“Terry’s retirement will cap more than three decades of achievement and growth,” Brett McBrayer, Ampco-Pittsburgh CEO, said. “He and his valued leadership will be greatly missed. On behalf of the board and the Corporation, I would like to thank Terry for his exemplary contributions and wish him the very best in his retirement.”

Kenny served as president since 2010.

Ampco-Pittsburgh manufactures highly engineered, high-performance specialty-metal products and customized equipment as well as air and liquid processing equipment such as centrifugal pumps, large custom air handling systems, and custom-engineered finned tube heat exchange coils.
