Allentown-based American Energy Partners recently completed its purchase of Unlimited Energy Services, a company headquartered in Jane Lew, W.Va. The completion of the deal was effective Oct. 1.

Unlimited provides services to public and private customers in West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Kentucky and Virginia. It works to reduce customers’ environmental footprint by performing such activities as the reclamation services of oil and gas assets, plug and abandonment, and decommissioning.

“The future for Unlimited is very bright and I could not be happier to have the full support of American Energy,” American Energy’s CEO Brad Domitrovitsch said after the announcement. “We are very pleased to make this high quality investment to reduce the environmental footprint of companies in the energy sector. Mr. Goodwin is an exceptional operator, and we welcome him and his employees to our team.”

Michael Goodwin, Unlimited president, will maintain his role.

The purchase includes a four-acre facility in Jane Lew and will represent an approximately $3 million increase in annualized revenue during the fourth quarter of this year. Unlimited employs 27 people.

American Energy Partners paid for the purchase through a combination of cash and conventional debt.

The company is a diversified energy company. Its subsidiaries provide oil and natural gas production, water treatment and distribution, and other services.
