Aramark, a company that provides uniforms and facilities management, recently launched a building and asset management solution designed for owners and operators.

Aramark Intelligent Workplace Experience (AIWX) Connect provides real-time data about space utilization, occupant satisfaction, and building performance using digital inputs from occupant feedback, wireless sensors, and building systems.

AIWX Connect key features are occupancy and space utilization, demand-driven cleaning,
occupant satisfaction and improved service response, indoor air quality, energy management, and refrigeration monitoring.

Owners and operators can use AIWX Connect to allocate resources based on actual demand. It can create safer environments for occupants, improve workplace management, improve service delivery, and enhance the user experience.

“COVID-19 has increased the need for building managers to better understand employee traffic patterns and how workspace is utilized to ensure the office is properly maintained,” John Hanner, president of Aramark’s Facilities Services division, said. “AIWX Connect combines the power of data with the knowledge of operations to create safer environments and improved building performance.”

The platform was testing in commercial, education, and healthcare environments.

AIWX Connect uses the Internet of Things devices and a common software platform.

It allows for expansion of service solutions to continuously increase efficiencies, the company said.
