Pennsylvania Industrial Development Authority approves four new loans

The Pennsylvania Industrial Development Authority (PIDA) recently approved four new loans for projects in Elk, Lancaster, and Northumberland counties.

Through North Central PA Regional Planning & Development Commission, Elk Life in Elk County received a $150,000 loan. Funding will go toward the purchase of a 1,600-square-foot building. The company will relocate to the building that is within proximity to the Elk Country Visitor Center. The project will cost $301,439.

PAP Technologies in Lancaster County, through EDC Finance Corp., received a $1.5 million loan toward the purchase of 4.5 acres in East Hempfield Township. The company will relocate to this site early next year. The site contains 43,500-square-feet of light manufacturing, warehouse, and office space. The project will cost $2.9 million.

Tri-S Management in Lancaster County, also through EDC Finance Corporation, received a $1.9 million loan to build an industrial park in East Earl Township. Funding will be used to prepare the approximately 16 acres for development.

Hidden Castle Banquets in Northumberland County received a $75,000 loan. Funds will be used to purchase property in Coal Township and the construction of a parking lot to accommodate future business growth. The project will cost a total of $153,693 and create two full-time positions.
