Saladworks, a create-your-own salad restaurant, plans to expand in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, including locations in Fort Washington, Media, Quakertown, Royersford, Springfield, and Trexlertown.
“Because Saladworks already has a significant presence in its home market and awareness of our concept is extremely high, we continue to see great demand for our original and fresh salads,” Eric Lavinder, vice president of Franchise Development, said. “We are looking for new and excited franchisees who want to join our family and can benefit from this brand awareness and demand to grow a business.”
The company is seeking qualified franchise partners. All franchisees will attend a four-week training program that will teach them how to run a restaurant, including opening/closing procedures, inventory management, food offerings, and food preparation.
The company hopes to grow in nontraditional areas such as stores-within-stores, military bases, universities, and ghost kitchens.
This year, Saladworks has opened 28 restaurant locations in California, Indiana, and North Carolina, with more than 20 new deals in the pipeline.
Saladworks was founded in 1986 and has more than 100 locations in 18 states and two countries. It was ranked 22nd on Fast Casual’s Top 100 Movers and Shakers in 2020.
