Triumph Group receives contract extension with Boeing

Boeing Co. recently extended its contract with Triumph Group’s Triumph Systems and Support business for an additional two years.

The contract, originally reached in 2017, is for ground support equipment (GSE) operation in San Antonio, Texas. Triumph will provide maintenance and support services for military and commercial aircraft through June 2022. Work will be conducted at Triumph’s Product Support – San Antonio site.

This type of service ensures the reliability and availability of critical equipment needed to service aircraft on the ground.

“Our services improve the operational readiness of both military and commercial aircraft, helping Boeing and its customers meet flight demands,” Jim Berberet, Triumph Product Support president, said. “We provide customers with exceptional service on multiple platforms, and we are pleased to support Boeing’s GSE operations over the coming years.”

Triumph has maintained Boeing’s GSE at the San Antonio facility since 2004. The facility is ISO 9001:2015-certified.

Triumph oversees more than 5,600 equipment inspections annually. The Berwyn based company designs, engineers, manufactures, repairs, and overhauls aerospace and defense systems, components, and structures. Its clients are in the global aviation industry and include original equipment manufacturers and the full spectrum of military and commercial aircraft operators.
