Pin Oak Midstream, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Pin Oak Energy Partners, recently completed the purchase of Laurel Mountain Midstream’s (LMM) Jackson Center assets.
The transaction adds to the company’s base within the Appalachian Basin.
“These assets in Mercer, Lawrence, and Crawford counties of Pennsylvania are a great fit to our expanding footprint and further bolster the Company’s midstream assets in the oil and wet gas windows of the Utica play in northwestern Pennsylvania,” Brent Breon, Pin Oak Midstream president of LLC and Pin Oak Energy Partners chief commercial officer, said.
Jackson Center includes more than 1,050 miles of natural-gas-gathering pipelines, interstate pipeline interconnects to the National Fuel Gas and Tennessee Gas Pipeline, and five gathering compressor stations. The stations have a gathering capacity of more than 50 million cubic feet per day.
“The Jackson Center assets currently gather conventional and unconventional gas from third party operators in the area and will allow Pin Oak Energy to connect and produce Utica wells currently waiting on pipelines,” Breon continued. “Additionally, Pin Oak remains committed to our ongoing efforts of executing our growth strategy through acquisitions even during these difficult times.”
LMM is a joint venture of Williams Laurel Mountain and Chevron Northeast Upstream.
