ValueMomentum, a New Jersey-based provider of software and services to insurance, health care and financial services firms, recently completed the purchase of a facility that will serve as the company’s regional development center. The facility is located in downtown Erie.

The center will provide IT services to customers undertaking digital transformation initiatives.

The nearly 20,000-square-foot facility will house approximately 100 employees and is part of the company’s strategy to develop talent that can meet the growing demand for digital, data and cloud technologies.

“We have been extremely pleased with the technology talent in Erie since we started our operations in June 2019, and we remain confident our new Erie location will contribute to our continued growth,” Kalyan Kodali, ValueMomentum CEO, said.

The company selected Erie for the center in May 2019. The company already has hired approximately 30 employees who were working temporarily at Gannon University’s Erie Technology Incubator.

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the employees have been working from home.

The company plans to complete renovations of the building by the end of the year.

The company has received a warm welcome from its long-time client Erie Insurance, local leaders, and the Erie community, ValueMomentum officials said.
