ASGCO Manufacturing, a conveyor and screening equipment and accessories manufacturer and distributor, recently announced it will be moving its headquarters from Allentown to Nazareth, Pa.

The move is part of the company’s strategy to meet the growing demand for its products and services.

The company purchased 19 acres and plans to build a 194,000-square-foot facility. The bulk of the facility will be devoted to the fabrication, manufacturing, assembly, distribution, and service departments.

A total of 30,000 square feet will be dedicated to offices, training areas, and wellness.

Construction will begin in July and is expected to be completed in the summer of 2021, with JVI Inc. serving as the general contractor, and Alliance Architecture serving as the architect.

The company will make the move in the fall of 2021, and all 90 employees are expected to move to the new facility.

No new positions are expected as a result of the relocation. If it meets projected sales growth expectations, ASGCO forecasts a 30 percent increase in personnel eventually will be needed.

ASGCO was founded in 1971 and serves the material-handling industry. In addition to manufacturing and distribution, the company is also a service provider of equipment and accessories that improve the safety and performance of bulk material handling systems.
