PNC Bank announces temporary business hours amid COVID-19 crisis

In response to the coronavirus pandemic, PNC Bank has made adjustments, effective March 20, to its business hours.

A quarter of branches will be closed until further notice. Those that remain open will operate Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

While most branches will operate as drive-up only, the company will work with branches that do not have drive-up capability to ensure communities have bank access.

Customers are encouraged to bank via mobile or online banking, by telephone, or ATM.

If a customer needs access to loan closings, safe deposit box access, or other banking services that cannot be conducted remotely or via drive-up, an appointment must be made.

“The safety and well-being of our customers, employees and the communities we serve remains our top priority, and our thoughts are with those who are being impacted by this global pandemic,” Bill Demchak, PNC chairman, president and CEO, said. “The challenges all of us face at this time are unprecedented, and PNC is making these adjustments to help keep our customers and employees safe.”

PNC also is offering hardship relief options for customers experiencing financial difficulty as a result of the pandemic.
