Broad Street Angels announces annual results, including over $1.5M in investments in 2019

Broad Street Angels (BSA), an angel investment group based in Philadelphia, Pa., announced at its annual meeting at the Union League of Philadelphia on Feb. 20 that it invested over $1.5 million in 2019.

Broad Street Angels members funded seven new investments and five existing portfolio companies in 2019.

“The breadth of our experience is shown in the diversity of the Mid-Atlantic based companies that we added to our portfolio this year,” said RoseAnn Rosenthal, chair of the Broad Street Angels and president of Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Southeastern Pennsylvania. “Our new tagline, ‘We fuel success,’ tells it all.”

Broad Street Angels members made new investments into Bounce Imaging, MNI Nutrition, Keriton, Narbis, Route Dynamics Corp, Thrive Commerce, and Triple Bristle. Add-on investments were made into ZSX Medical, NeuroFlow Solutions, eureQa, Houwzer, and Mytonomy.

The Broad Street Angels also unveiled its new logo and website at the meeting, which were created by Pavone Marketing, an advertising and marketing company with offices in Philadelphia, Harrisburg, and Chicago.

Since its first member meeting in 2017, the Broad Street Angels has invested approximately $5 million in 18 companies.
