F.N.B. Corp. will relocate its corporate headquarters for First National Bank to FNB Financial Center in downtown Pittsburgh.

The 24-story, mixed-use tower is planned for the corner of Washington Place and Bedford Avenue. The building will feature more than 1 million square feet of office, residential and retail space, green space, and plazas. A two-story parking structure also will be built.

FNB’s logo will be prominently displayed on the building’s exterior, and green space adjacent to FNB Financial Center will be named The Plaza at FNB Financial Center.

“BFNB Financial Center will serve as the cornerstone for our local teams to join together, trade ideas and knowledge, interact with the local community and make a positive impact in the city we call home,” Vincent J. Delie, Jr., chairman, president and CEO of F.N.B. Corporation and First National Bank, said.

First National Bank will have a branch at street level, and the headquarters will occupy more than 160,000 square feet of office space. There are options to expand in the future.

Moving headquarters to the tower will allow the company to create a central hub for the bank’s multiple groups and executives as well as consolidate its regional operations, increase collaboration and productivity, and improve efficiency.
