Brickworks North America Corporation (Brickworks N.A.), the parent company of Wyomissing, Penn.-based Glen-Gery Corporation, recently announced that it reached a binding agreement to acquire assets of Redland Brick Inc.
Under the agreement, which was reached through a newly formed subsidiary, Brickworks N.A. will acquire substantially all of Redland Brick Inc.’s assets related to its Cushwa, Harmar, Rocky Ridge, Lawrenceville Brick, and Tru-Brix product lines. These product lines will become part of the Glen-Gery family of brands.
Brickworks N.A. will also acquire four manufacturing plants operated by Redland Brick, one of which is located in Pittsburgh, Penn.
Completion of the transaction is expected to occur in early 2020.
