OraSure Technologies will be the featured company at Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corp.’s (LVEDC) Fall Signature Event Oct. 23 in Bethlehem.
The annual event spotlights an existing company in the Lehigh Valley that exemplifies a particular industry. This year, the industry is life sciences research and manufacturing.
OraSure is a medical device manufacturer focused on the development of rapid diagnostics for infectious diseases, including molecular collection devices and point-of-care diagnostic tests. Products include oral fluid laboratory tests for detecting various drugs of abuse, rapid tests for the detection of antibodies to HIV and Hepatitis C, and sample self-collection and stabilization products for molecular applications.
Stephen S. Tang, OraSure Technologies president and CEO, will be the featured speaker.

The event is open to current LVEDC investors and registration is required.
