Snack food manufacturer That’s How We Roll plans to expand its operations and open a manufacturing facility in York County.

The New Jersey-based company has outgrown its current facility and will use the York plant to increase production capacity and product offerings.

The $4.4 million project includes building renovations and the purchase of new equipment. It is expected to create 50 jobs in York.

“As our company continues its trajectory with some of America’s fastest-growing snack brands, it is critical for us to invest in a city that has the right infrastructure, talent, and leadership,” Samuel Kestenbaum, That’s How We Roll CEO, said. “Springettsbury Township contains these important elements, and we expect that it will be an exceptional place to grow our business. We are excited to expand our production here. We’re thrilled to be supporting local equipment manufacturers and suppliers, engaging local engineers and tradesmen, and joining this business community.”

The Department of Community and Economic Development submitted a proposal for a $200,000 Pennsylvania First grant and a $54,000 job training grant through the WEDnet PA program.

The company manufactures baked snacks that are free of preservatives, artificial colors and flavors, corn syrups, genetically modified organisms, or bovine growth hormones.
