The SEDA-Council of Governments, a public development organization serving 11 Central Pennsylvania counties, is hosting an event on how to sell goods and services in over 50 international markets. The council will be partnering with its Export Development Program (SEDA-COG).
The event, Bringing the World to Central PA, will be held at Hummels Wharf in Snyder County on Sept. 17. It will feature networking opportunities with regional businesses and service providers as well as exhibits. SEDA staff will be available to offer assistance.
“Companies have this unique opportunity to sit down with international trade representatives in a local, personalized setting,” Noelle Long, SEDA-COG Export program director, said. “They can leverage this time to discuss market opportunities, entry and expansion strategies, distribution, regulatory concerns, and much more.”
Participants will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with Pennsylvania’s Authorized Trade Representatives from 16 nations and international regions.
The trade representatives will visit nine locations throughout the state on a 10-day tour partially funded by the Department of Community and Economic Development’s (DCED) Office of International Business Development.
Anyone interested in attending the free event must register with SEDA-COG by Sept. 3.
The event is co-sponsored by DCED and Fulton International Group.
