System One announces acquisition of Cohesion by ALTA IT Services

System One, a provider of staffing, workforce solutions and integrated services based in Pittsburgh, announced Monday that one of its companies, ALTA IT Services, LLC recently acquired Cohesion.

Cohesion has offices in Baltimore and Cincinnati and delivers workforce solutions and consulting services to government and private sectors. Cohesion will integrate as a part of ALTA IT Services.

“Our firms’ combined service portfolio enhances our IT expertise, offering our clients efficient deployment of technology,” Troy Gregory, president and CEO of System One, said. “We are excited to invest in the growth of this exceptional team and expand our reach in IT. We look forward to bringing Cohesion’s deep subject matter expertise and experience in IT to all of ALTA’s clients.”

The acquisition will enable System One and ALTA to further expand their capacity to help clients transform their technology environments, System One said. ALTA and System One will continue to focus on sourcing and screening technology talent that supports critical IT projects and core business functions.
