State Rep. Donna Bullock (D-Philadelphia) announced today that four local projects would receive a total of $3.95 million in state grants awarded through the Redevelopment Assistance Capitol Program.
WURD Radio will receive $500,000 to upgrade its office spaces and repair two AM tower antennas. Mantua Supermarket will receive $1 million for its Village Square multifamily building project. Philadelphia Museum of Art Core II will receive $1.7 million for building renovations and a new public space. Hunt Development Group will receive $1 million for its Sharswood Phase II project, which consists of new multifamily housing.
“These projects will help boost our local economy, renovate properties, and refresh our community for the benefit of everyone,” Bullock said. “I’m thrilled to see this funding come to the 195th district.”
The Redevelopment Assistance Capitol Program provides funding for regional economic, cultural, civic, and historical improvement projects.
