Mid Penn Bank, a subsidiary of Mid Penn Bancorp, held a grand opening for its newest location Monday in Lower Paxton Township, Dauphin County, having relocated from a different office in the township.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by U.S. Rep. Scott Perry (R-PA), Sen. John DiSanto (R-PA), Dauphin County Commissioner Mike Pries, and Lower Paxton Township Supervisor Robin Lindsey.
“As the largest bank headquartered in Dauphin County and Central Pennsylvania, Mid Penn Bank is committed to delivering a superb banking experience to our customers,” Mid Penn Bank President and CEO Rory G. Ritrievi said. “It is imperative that we continue to enhance our facilities, and our new location on Jonestown Road is much more accessible and convenient than our previous location. Our team looks forward to welcoming existing and new customers alike at our new office.”
Mid Penn Bank also recently opened branches in Lancaster and Schuylkill counties. It currently has 38 offices in 12 counties and is the largest community bank in the Dauphin County area.
The bank is expected to merge with The Scottdale Bank & Trust Co. later this year.
Mid Penn Bancorp is headquartered in Millersburg, Pa., has been serving the community since 1868.
