AHF Products, a manufacturer of solid and engineered hardwood flooring products headquartered in Lancaster County, will move its headquarters to a new location in West Hempfield Township to accommodate the company’s growth.
AHF, which shares space with another company at its current headquarters, plans to invest at least $985,000 into the project, which is expected to create 68 jobs and retain 69 existing jobs over the next three years.
“This expansion by AHF demonstrates what so many manufacturers in Lancaster County and across Pennsylvania are finding – that this commonwealth is the best place for a manufacturing company to grow,” Gov. Tom Wolf said. “I applaud AHF for its commitment to build its future and create jobs here in Pennsylvania.”
AHF received a funding proposal from the Department of Community and Economic Development for a $150,000 Pennsylvania First grant. The Governor’s Action Team and the Economic Development Company of Lancaster coordinated the project.
“We are delighted to continue our operations here in the great state of Pennsylvania, with assistance from the Governor’s office,” Brian Carson, president and CEO of AHF Products, said. “As AHF continues to demonstrate our position as the leader in hardwood flooring, we look forward to many years of prosperity and growth in our new best-in-class facility, expanding and deepening our commitment to both the local and national community.”
