Spreetail to open fulfillment center in Nanticoke City

E-commerce company Spreetail will open a fulfillment center in the Nanticoke City section of the Hanover 9 site as early as June 1.

The 610,000-square-foot facility will employ 50. By 2021, that number is expected to increase to 120. The starting wage will be $16.50 per hour.

Based in Lincoln, Neb., Spreetail has offices in eight cities and six states with more than 650 employees. The company sells products for the house, yard and garden.

We are proud of the public-private partnership we have built with the city of Nanticoke, Luzerne County, the Earth Conservancy, the school districts and the community college as we continue to invest in the area and keep the momentum to an all time high with capital investment and jobs for the area.”

NorthPoint Development is a privately held development firm located in Kansas City, Mo. It has invested more than $393 million in capital investment in the South Valley Corridor.
