Company launches augmented reality software

Augmentir, a leading provider of enterprise software for industrial companies, recently launched its Augmented Operations platform.

The platform combines enterprise augmented reality with artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning allowing frontline workers to increase productivity and perform a higher quality job.

Companies with frontline workers include service organizations and manufacturing. These companies are undergoing a digital transformation in an effort to become more agile, productive and seamlessly integrated, Augmentir said.

The software platform allows companies to digitize work processes and provide on-demand training, interactive guidance and remote expert support. It also includes remote expert capability for collaboration with workers in the field, powerful analytics and AI-supported rapid authoring tools.

The platform already has been used by dozens of industrial companies.

“With Augmentir, we converted our existing paper-based instructions and drawings and were up and running within a day,” Steve Thorne, STRONGARM Designs general manager, said. “Their augmented procedures enabled us to standardize work across all technicians, improving quality and giving us the performance insights to help improve productivity,” stated “Additionally, we were able to quickly add new technicians in order to meet increased customer demand and have them perform at the same level of our most experienced team members.”

Augmenter and STRONGARM Designs are based in Horsham.
