Tyler Technologies, Inc. announced Thursday that it signed an agreement with the Northern Tier consortium of Pennsylvania counties for a full suite of Tyler’s New World public safety solutions.
The Northern Tier consortium consists of Cameron, Clarion, Clearfield, Crawford, Elk, Erie, Forest, Jefferson, McKean and Warren Counties, which serve a population of more than 650,000.
Under the new agreement, Tyler Technologies will provide the Northern Tier counties with its Enterprise Records Management System (RMS); Field Reporting; Police and Fire Mobile; and Tyler’s SoftCode civil process solution. The agreement adds to Tyler’s existing relationship with the counties for its New World public safety computer-aided dispatch (CAD) system.
“We’re pleased to continue working with Tyler to implement a robust records management system and mobile reporting offering for the Northern Tier,” Mike McAllister, director of emergency services for Elk County Office of Emergency Services, which is the acting fiduciary for all software involving the consortium, said.
The Northern Tier selected Tyler as part of Phase II of the project. The agreement will enable the Northern Tier consortium to fully integrate their public safety software and improve data sharing across the ten-county region.
“Our previous experience throughout the commonwealth will serve us well as we expand our relationship with the Northern Tier consortium,” Greg Sebastian, president of Tyler’s Public Safety Division, said. “It’s encouraging that the consortium sees the value in having a full public safety suite of solutions in place, as it makes processes more seamless and increases overall efficiency. We look forward to bringing these agencies even more benefits through a comprehensive, web-based records management system, flexible mobile tools, and an easy-to-use civil process offering.”
Tyler serves 49 percent of all public safety answering points (PSAPs) in Pennsylvania with its public safety solutions.
