KCF Technologies plans to significantly expand its Centre County corporate headquarter operations, a $1.5 million investment, the company and the Centre County Economic Development Partnership (CCEDP) recently announced.

KCF will lease approximately 15,000 square feet of additional corporate headquarter space in downtown State College.

The expansion allows the company to grow without losing its connection to the downtown area, Jeremy Frank, KCF Technologies president and co-founder, said.

“Our mission is to optimize American manufacturing, and we believe an important component of that is not only elevating our customers but also fostering growth and success in the Centre County economy,” Frank said. “Communities and their residents need meaningful, well-paying jobs to thrive, and we want to be a leader in providing impactful opportunities for work.”

Community support for and investment in the expansion was the reason KCF decided to stay in State College, Frank said.

CCEDP signed a performance agreement with KCP. Under the agreement, KCF pledged to maintain its corporate headquarters in State College for no less than 10 years, to increase jobs in State College to 200 within 36 months and to lease new office space for no less than five years.

KCF develops and commercializes products and solutions for industry and military.
