The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) recently named Gordon Denlinger as its Pennsylvania state director.
Most recently, Denlinger was managing partner in a firm that raised capital for a financial sector investment. He also worked as assistant controller for Graco Children’s Products in Elverson, with company annual sales tripling during his tenure, and was a corporate controller at a family-owned, Ephrata-based grocery store chain. Denlinger is a Bob Jones University graduate.
Between 2003 and 2014, Denlinger served in the Pennsylvania state House. His voting record on key small business issues earned him an NFIB Guardian of Small Business award. Earlier this year, he ran for lieutenant governor.
“Promoting and protecting small businesses’ right to own, operate, and grow in a free market, has been one of my life-long callings,” Denlinger said. “I am grateful to NFIB for the opportunity to carry our members’ concerns to the halls of power in Harrisburg.”
Denlinger will advocate on behalf of the state’s14,000 small businesses.
Denlinger’s background as a legislator and expertise on tax issues means members will be getting top-notch advocacy in the state Capitol, Tim Goodrich NFIB state public policy executive director, said.
NFIB is excited to have Denlinger heading its Pennsylvania team, Goodrich said.
