The Northeastern Pennsylvania Industrial Resource Center (NEPIRC) announced last week that it would host three events to celebrate National Manufacturing Day on three different days in Sugarloaf, Scranton, and Wellsboro.
National Manufacturing Day recognizes the impact that manufacturing has on the U.S. economy and its value to communities. It also aims to raise awareness of high-paying manufacturing careers and provides interested parties with information about the innovations, technologies, career options and best practices in the manufacturing sector.
NEPIRC will host a Manufacturing Day Showcase, Presentation and Luncheon on Oct. 2 at the Valley Country Club in Sugarloaf; a Regional Manufacturing Showcase and Trade Show on Oct. 4 at the Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel in Scranton; and a Manufacturing Day Luncheon and Presentation on Oct. 5 at Timeless Destinations in Wellsboro.
“All events are great opportunities to meet manufacturers and regional business leaders and learn about their products and services,” NEPIRC said. “Time has been incorporated into all events for participants to network, learn about what each other has to offer and help facilitate synergies, purchasing opportunities and collaborations among Pennsylvania manufacturers.”
