Redevelopment Authority of the County of Fayette was recently approved for a $500,000 grant to build a business park in Uniontown, Fayette County, Gov. Tom Wolf announced this week.
The business park will have the capacity to host more than 45 businesses and more than 1,000 jobs upon completion.
“The development of pad-ready sites will help bolster Fayette County to the top of the list when businesses are looking for a place to call home,” Gov. Wolf said. “I’m proud to support a project that will help Fayette County prepare for the business development and job creation projects of the future.”
The project is supported through the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP) program, which promotes critical expansion projects, including some that will provide opportunities for additional economic development.
