The Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry, the state’s largest broad-based business association, recently launched a contest to decide the most interesting products made in Pennsylvania.
In the “Coolest Thing Made in PA” tournament, 32 companies and products will compete for the right to be called the coolest thing made in the state. This is the first year the contest has been held.
The public will vote for a winner on the chamber’s Twitter page. Contestants will face off in a single-elimination bracket format. There will be five rounds.
The first round ends Friday. The second round runs March 21 to 24, the third round will be March 28 and 29, the fourth round will be March 30 and 31, and the championship round will be April 3.
“From the steel that built our nation’s cities to the food that feeds our families, and the cutting-edge technology driving today’s and tomorrow’s innovation — Pennsylvania makes it all,” Luke Bernstein, chamber president and CEO, said. “This competition celebrates the commonwealth’s storied history and continued leadership in manufacturing and spotlights the amazing companies who are making incredible things right here in Pennsylvania.”
The winner will be honored at next year’s Annual PA Economic Forecast and Business Leadership Summit.
