Philadelphia company ZeroEyes announced it has entered into a partnership with Liverpool-based Samson Security Fire & Facilities to expand ZeroEyes’ visual threat detection capabilities across the United Kingdom.

Officials said the companies will work together to demonstrate the technology at the International Security Expo in late September at Olympia in London. Through the partnership Samson will offer access to ZeroEyes proactive AI weapon detection and intelligence situational awareness technology that is capable of detecting and identifying visible firearms and knives through CCTV infrastructure. The platform analyzes live camera feeds and sends information about potential detections to human analysts for verification before issuing any alerts to first responders or security personnel.

“Samson has the experience, relationships and operational capabilities needed to bring our technology to organizations throughout the UK,” Mike Lahiff, co-founder and CEO of ZeroEyes, said. “This partnership represents an important step in our international growth and advances our shared goal of helping security teams identify visible threats earlier and respond with actionable intelligence.”

The partnership combines ZeroEyes’ threat detection technology with Samson’s UK-based security, monitoring and response capabilities, officials said. ZeroEyes’ platform builds on its proven visual firearm-detection technology, which is deployed across the United States and has generated thousands of verified weapon dispatches, including alerts that have resulted in arrests. ZeroEyes expanded Analytics Suite adds visual knife detection, intrusion detection, left-behind object detection and camera health monitoring across an organization’s infrastructure. The platform also provides public-safety alerts. Officials said the technology does not use facial recognition or behavioral tracking.
