PNC Bank, one of the largest diversified financial services institutions in the United States, recently hired Jeff Hofmann as head of retail lending.
“Jeff’s long track record and deep expertise in consumer and business lending, combined with his strategic vision and focus on the customer journey will help us strengthen our market position and further improve how we deliver for our clients,” Alex Overstrom, head of PNC’s Retail Bank, said.
Hofmann has more than 25 years of banking experience. He most recently worked at Wells Fargo as the head of the co-brand and business credit card divisions. Prior to Wells Fargo, Hofmann worked for more than a decade at JPMorgan Chase where he oversaw key lending, credit card and co-brand partnership portfolios.
In his new role, Hofmann will be tasked with driving business growth and deepening client relationships through PNC’s lending solutions. He will be based in Philadelphia.
“We are focused on building upon this foundation by enhancing the client experience and introducing new solutions that allow us to grow and deepen those relationships, all in support of PNC’s broader growth strategy,” Hofmann said.
Lending solutions include consumer and business credit cards, direct and indirect auto lending, student lending, and personal loans and lines.
