West Chester-based A. Duie Pyle (Pyle), a non-asset- and asset-based supply chain solutions provider, recently opened a warehouse and distribution center in North Carolina.

“Expanding our warehousing footprint will enable us to better serve an existing strategic customer who requires supply chain expertise and support beyond the Northeast,” Frank Granieri, Pyle Supply Chain Solutions COO, said. “We consistently seek ways to support our customers’ growth objectives, and this new warehouse will help minimize disruptions in manufacturing and ensure timely deliveries.”

Located outside the Charlotte metropolitan area in Gastonia, the 186,000-square-foot facility includes parking for up to 75 trailers and will offer a range of services including bulk storage, consolidation, deconsolidation, hazmat storage, pick and pack, and warehousing.

The facility, which was opened to address a customer’s specific needs, is the company’s first in North Carolina. It will allow the company to address the customer’s supply chain challenges by ensuring all materials are readily available when needed for the customer’s nearby manufacturing plant.

A. Duie Pyle offers a full range of integrated transportation and distribution services including brokerage solutions, contract dedicated, less than truckload, and warehousing. Pyle also has recently opened facilities in Allentown and Camp Hill, Pa., and Maspeth, N.Y., and Bangor, Maine.
