Malvern-based PQ, a sodium silicates, specialty silicas, and derivative products producer, recently completed the expansion of its Pasuruan, Indonesia, silica production facility.

The project added a micronizer that will increase production capabilities and will allow the company to meet a growing demand in the Asian market for high-quality silicas. PQ also will have the ability to introduce new products to its paints and coatings, personal care, and pharmaceutical market customers.
